Walburga Habsburg Douglas (Sweden)

Walburga Habsburg Douglas (Sweden) was elected Vice-President of the Assembly at the 2011 Annual Session in Belgrade. She previously served two terms as Chair of the Assembly's Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions, having previously served as Committee Vice-Chair and Rapporteur.

Ms. Habsburg Douglas is also the Head of the Swedish Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. With a background in law and journalism, Ms. Habsburg Douglas served as Secretary General of the International Pan-European movement prior to being elected to parliament in 2006.
