Ann Phelan (Ireland) - Rapporteur

phelan Ann Phelan (Ireland) was elected Rapporteur of the Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions at the 2012 Annual Session in Monaco.

In February 2011, she became the first woman elected to the Dáil (Irish Parliamenta) from Carlow/Kilkenny.

She serves as a Member of the Joint Administration Committee and the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly. She represented the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly at the 2012 Dublin Conference on Internet Freedom put on by the Irish OSCE Chairmanship.
