Kurt Lerras, Denmark
Kurt Lerras joined the staff of the International Secretariat in February 1993 after having served for eighteen years in the Danish Parliament, including in its International Department. After having worked for several years as General Services Officer, he currently holds the position of Administrative Director. Working with the Secretary General, he ensures that all expenditures are properly authorised and vouchered.
He is also responsible for acquiring and maintaining equipment and supplies for the International Secretariat, and for the physical arrangements of all Assembly meetings.
In addition, Mr. Lerras is in charge of reproduction and distribution of all documents, including communications to the Bureau, Standing Committee, and other OSCE Institutions. He provides financial information to the Treasurer and provides the Secretary General and the Deputy Secretaries General with regular reports on the status of the Assembly’s finances.
Mr. Lerras assists members of staff with issues relating to housing, transportation and medical assistance. He is in regular communication with Secretaries of Delegations as well as the staff of the various parliaments who host Assembly meetings.
