Roger Wicker (United States)

Senator Roger WickerRoger Wicker (United States) was elected OSCE PA Vice-President at the 26th Annual Session in Minsk and was re-elected at the Remote Session in July 2021.

He previously served for three years as the Chair of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Committee on Political Affairs and Security.

Wicker joined the U.S. Congress in 1995 to represent Mississippi's First Congressional District in the House of Representatives. He was appointed to the Senate in 2007, winning a special election the following year and re-election in 2012. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (U.S. Helsinki Commission).

Within the U.S. Senate he is a member of the Armed Services Committee; the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee; the Environment and Public Works Committee; and the Rules Committee.
