On May 10 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Petros Efthymiou.

Greeting the guest, the Armenian Foreign Minister noted that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is a full-fledged format of inter-parliamentary cooperation and Armenia actively participates in its activity.

The interlocutors touched upon a number of issues on OSCE agenda.

The parties exchanged views on the latest developments in the process of settlement of the Karabakh issue. The OSCE PA President stressed the importance of establishing an atmosphere of trust through the withdrawal of snipers and reinforcement of the ceasefire regime, emphasizing that there is no alternative to the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh issue.
