Susana Amador (Portugal) - Rapporteur

Susana AmadorSusana Amador (Portugal) was elected at the 2019 Annual Session in Luxembourg.

A member of the Portuguese Parliament since 2015, Amador is a member of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Rights Freedoms and Guarantees; the Committee on Education and Science; the committee on Environment, Decentralization, Local and Government; and the Subcommittee on Equality and Non-Discrimination. She serves as Co-ordinator of the Working Group on Monitoring Skills Transfer in Education and as a member of the Working group on the Child’s Rights. She is also a member of the Parliamentary Group on Population and Development and Chair of the Women’s Department of the Federation of the Urban Area of Lisbon of the Socialist Party.

She has an MA in Law and Communication Sciences, a postgraduate degree in European Affairs and a law degree from the Law School of Lisbon. She has been on the Portuguese Delegation to the OSCE PA since 2016.
