Freyja Koci, Senior Advisor

The Senior Advisor provides advice and support, including to the Secretary-General and other members of the International Secretariat, on a range of programmatic and parliamentary diplomacy issues. In particular, the Senior Advisor:

  • Serves as Director for the Committee on Democracy, Human Rights, and Humanitarian Questions.
  • Provides advice and support on OSCE PA election observation work, regularly assisting parliamentary observers.
  • Supports the work of the Office of the OSCE PA President.

Freyja Koci joined the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in May 2019. Prior to joining the OSCE PA, Freyja has worked at the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo and the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

She holds a Master of Laws in Public International Law from Leiden University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Justice & World Politics from Leiden University College.
