Lorenza Vezzoni

Lorenza Vezzoni joined the OSCE PA’s office in Vienna in January 2025, covering the portfolio related to the Ad Hoc Committee on Countering Terrorism (CCT). She holds a master’s degree in Foreign Languages for International Relations from the Catholic University of Milan, with a focus on Russian language and geopolitical developments of the post-Soviet area.

After interning with the NGO ''International Cultural Diversity Organization" as an administrative assistant, she worked as a research fellow at the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the International Organizations in Vienna, covering the OSCE, UNODC, IAEA and CTBTO. Passionate about the politico-military dimension of the OSCE, she voluntarily joined the mentoring program offered by the network of Women in the First Dimension. She also broadened her understanding of the security sector while attending the European Security and Defence College’s core course on SSG/R held by the Austrian Centre for Peace. In 2024 she worked as a communications assistant at the Mission of the Maltese OSCE Chairpersonship, supporting the CiO Spokesperson.   

While being a mother tongue speaker of Italian, Lorenza also speaks English and Russian, she has a good understanding of French, and is currently learning German.
