Monika Zajkova (North Macedonia) was elected Assembly Vice-President at the 2026 Annual Session in The Hague.
A member of the Parliament of North Macedonia and President of the Liberal Democratic Party, Monika Zajkova serves on the Committee for Equal Opportunities of Women and Men, as well as on the National Council for European Integration. She also sits in the Inter-Parliamentary Group against Corruption as well as the Inter-Party Parliamentary Group on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Furthermore, she is a deputy member of the Committee of Education and of the Committee Elections and Appointment issues. Ms. Zajkova is also Deputy Coordinator of the Club for Youth Affairs, and chairs the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation with the Parliaments of the Baltic countries.
In the OSCE PA, she serves as Head of Delegation for North Macedonia and is a member of the Network of Young Parliamentarians. Previously she was Special Representative for Youth Engagement and was also Head of Delegation of the OSCE PA for the Election Observation of the Parliamentary Elections in Kyrgyzstan in 2025.
