OSCE PA President Muttonen issues statement of condemnation and condolences for Stockholm attack

COPENHAGEN, 7 April 2017 – OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Christine Muttonen (MP, Austria) responded to an apparent terrorist attack in Stockholm today with a statement of condemnation and condolences, expressing solidarity on behalf of the OSCE PA with the victims and the people of Sweden.

“I condemn the attack in Stockholm in the strongest terms. Like the attack last week in St. Petersburg and a week before that in London, this senseless act of violence strikes to the core of our humanity, and as always, my thoughts are first and foremost with the victims and the injured, whom I wish full recovery. My deepest condolences go to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, and to all the Swedish people,” Muttonen said.
