The 23rd Autumn Meeting of the OSCE PA took place in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 17-19 November 2025. Hosted by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the Autumn Meeting included a Parliamentary Conference, held under the theme “The OSCE at 50: Revitalizing Multilateralism through Dialogue and Co-operation,” a meeting of the Mediterranean Forum, and a meeting of the Standing Committee.
With around 200 lawmakers from 55 OSCE participating States and Mediterranean Partners, the Parliamentary Conference addressed dialogue, trade, and human dignity. Speakers identified climate change, conflicts, and resource competition as threats to multilateralism, urging strategic connectivity for sustainable security. Chaired by OSCE PA President Pere Joan Pons (Spain), the Mediterranean Forum featured remarks by OSCE PA Special Representative on Mediterranean Affairs Pascal Allizard (France), Prof. Esra Albayrakoglu of Bahçeşehir University, and addresses by the Heads of the Parliamentary Delegations from Algeria and Morocco, as well as an intervention by the Delegation of the Palestinian National Council. Several key side events also took place during the OSCE PA’s Autumn Meeting, spotlighting migration, counter-terrorism, Ukraine, and journalist safety.
