Parliamentary elections in Moldova - 28 September 2025

Parliamentary elections are planned to take place in Moldova on 28 September 2025. Following an invitation to observe these elections, and after appropriate communication to Bureau Members, the President has decided to deploy an Election Observation Mission to these important elections to work closely with expected teams from the OSCE/ODIHR and parliamentary partners from PACE and the European Parliament.

Portuguese parliamentarian Paula Cardoso has been appointed by the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office as Special Co-ordinator and leader of the short-term OSCE observers, and Swedish parliamentarian Linnéa Wickman has been appointed by the OSCE PA President as Head of the PA’s delegation of observers.
