COPENHAGEN, 29 October 2025 – High-level speakers will kick off the 23rd Autumn Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 17 November, followed by debates between hundreds of parliamentarians from North America, Europe, and Central Asia under the general theme “The OSCE at 50: Revitalizing Multilateralism through Dialogue and Co-operation.”

The meeting, taking place 17-19 November at the Hilton İstanbul Bomonti Hotel and Conference Center, will consist of a Parliamentary Conference and meetings of the Mediterranean Forum and the Standing Committee.

The inaugural session of the Parliamentary Conference will be addressed by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş, OSCE Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu, and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Pere Joan Pons (Spain). Additional speakers will be announced in due course.

In the three working sessions of the Parliamentary Conference, OSCE parliamentarians will hear addresses by academics and representatives of international organizations.

The conference will focus on reinforcing dialogue and trust in an era of uncertainty, strengthening rule-based global trade, and placing human dignity first by protecting lives and supporting communities. President Pons, Head of the Turkish Delegation to the OSCE PA Selami Altinok and OSCE PA Secretary General Roberto Montella will speak at the conclusion of the Parliamentary Conference on 19 November.

The OSCE PA Mediterranean Forum, taking place on 19 November, will focus on the situation in the Middle East, featuring addresses by a representative of Türkiye and delegations from the OSCE Mediterranean Partners for Co-operation.
