High-level OSCE parliamentary delegation to visit Georgia
COPENHAGEN, 7 March 2026 – A senior delegation of parliamentarians from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, led by OSCE PA President Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, will pay a visit to Georgia from 8-10 March.
Who:
- Pere Joan Pons (Spain) – President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly
- Luís Graça (Portugal) – Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly & Special Representative on South Caucasus
- Jevrosima Pejović (Montenegro) – Vice-Chair, Committee on Political Affairs and Security
- Baroness Christine Blower (United Kingdom) – Vice Chair, Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions
- Roberto Montella – Secretary General (OSCE PA)
What:
- The visit will provide an opportunity for members of the OSCE PA to engage and exchange views with Georgian interlocutors on recent political developments and issues related to democracy, security and regional stability.
- The parliamentarians will meet with a wide range of political actors and representatives from civil society, to discuss the OSCE PA’s continued engagement with Georgia
