On Friday and Saturday, she met with a wide range of stakeholders to gain insights into the election preparations and the current political climate.

During the visit, Pejović held discussions with representatives of state authorities, the election administration, political parties and alliances, civil society organizations, media representatives, and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Election Observation Mission already deployed on the ground.

“An election isn't just a single day. It is a complex process built by everyone involved, from the officials organizing it to the civil society groups watching over it,” said Pejović. “The openness we experienced over the last two days shows a strong willingness to engage with the international community. This groundwork is vital for our upcoming mission, allowing our observers to provide an independent and constructive assessment that truly supports Armenia’s democratic path.”

Pejović will work closely with Special Co-ordinator Farah Karimi (Netherlands), who is leading the short-term OSCE observer mission. This initiative represents a joint effort by OSCE/ODIHR, the OSCE PA, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), and the European Parliament (EP), working together to provide a comprehensive assessment of the electoral process.
